Sweet Grace
12 year old Manjula Grace was born in a poor tribal village in India. The village is separated from the nearest town by forest on three sides and a canal on the other. Her alcoholic father died when she was seven, leaving her mother to support the family. When her mother became very ill, the pastor of the village brought Manjula Grace to the orphanage. She is happy with her new family and doing well in school. She loves to sing in church. Her snapshot of life has been changed.
The angel wings on our new Sweet Grace candle remind us of the innocence of children like Manjula Grace. For every jar candle sold, Bridgewater makes a donation to feed an orphaned child for a day.
