Meet Mafuna

Shy. Loving. Giggly.
That is a snapshot of Mafuna’s life today. Five years ago, her life was very different. She was an orphan, with no one to care for her and her little brother, Roger. They were two of the many vulnerable orphaned and abandoned children populating the streets of Haiti.
Today, Mafuna is a healthy, happy teenager who loves to play checkers, eat candy and stay up late. She loves fashion and making clothes for her dolls. Mafuna and Roger, along with nine other children, now live in a loving orphanage that is restoring them from abuse in their past. The love she is experiencing is healing Mafuna’s beautiful heart.
